What is Avesti?
Avesti is a diaspora investment platform in development. It connects investors in the African diaspora with vetted, investor-ready African startups, and helps African founders get investor-ready. Avesti is in pre-launch and is not currently offering securities.
Who is Avesti for?
Two groups. Members of the African diaspora in the US, UK, Canada and elsewhere who want a structured, trusted way to back African startups, and African founders who want to become investable by diaspora and international investors.
How will investing through Avesti work?
The planned model pools investors into a separate legal entity, called a special purpose vehicle or SPV, for each startup, and that entity invests in the company. Startups are reviewed before they appear on the platform. Details will be shared with the waitlist before launch and may change.
What is the Avesti Score?
An investor-readiness assessment for African startups. It looks at structure, governance, compliance and documentation, and shows founders what to fix before they raise from international investors.
Is Avesti offering investments today?
No. Avesti is in early development. Joining the waitlist or applying as a founder does not commit you to anything, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell securities.
